Day-to-day itinerary

Day 1
South of Bali – Denpasar City tour – Pengelipuran – Undisan (LD)

In the morning, meet with your professional local guide at the hotel who will then take you to explore the east part of Bali for the 4 days memorable tours.
The capital of Bali, Denpasar has evolved from a traditional village into a small town that faces a significant impact of modernization; explore the remains of its old indigenous culture which was engraved profoundly in every aspect of life.
First, visit Pasar Badung, Bali's largest traditional market in the heart of town. It's a bustling hub for food, spices, herbs, and textiles. Begin your local food trail here by strolling through the market, where you can taste seasonal local fruits like Salak (snake fruit) and sample the popular Balinese pie, often used as temple offerings and a favorite souvenir.
Afterward, walk to the nearby Chinese restaurant established since 1940 for your culinary adventure. Very popular among locals as one of the food legends on the island.
Next, after your lunch, stroll and visit one of the oldest coffee shops in town (from 1935) that is nowadays managed by the 3rd generation of the family. A coffee break with the real Balinese coffee brand, the most popular entire the island inside the Denpasar old town (closed on Sunday).
Proceeding to Penglipuran, a traditional village that preserves their traditional Balinese architectural housing to today. This same type of typical Balinese entrance stands in a row on the left and right side of the village.
Next, transfer to Undisan village located in the highland, situated in between the two highest volcanoes in Bali, mount Agung, and mount Batur.
Overnight at local family Balinese House – lunch on tours and dinner at the local house.


Day 2
Undisan village and surrounding – waterfall – Sidemen (BL)

Savor a local Balinese breakfast and then take a morning stroll around this traditional Balinese village, and you will discover the locals engaged in their daily activities. This village is renowned in Bali as the center for producing royal Balinese headdresses, known as “Gelung Agung,” which are worn only on very special occasions such as weddings.
Continue to the center of the village, where an almost 100-year-old banyan tree stands at the village intersection, a place considered sacred.
Afterward, hike across a breezy Padi field to discover a natural canyon waterfall. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to learn more about Subak, the Balinese traditional irrigation system that is a UNESCO-acknowledged way of sustainable farming.
A picnic simple Balinese lunch will be served in the small hut in the middle of the rice field.
On the back to your accommodation visit some local houses and you may encounter the local villagers doing their routine you will also be shown the art of making the beautiful Balinese Canang Sari.
In the late afternoon, transfer to your next hotel in Sidemen.

Day 3
Sidemen – Lempuyang temple – Tirta Gangga – Candidasa (BL)

In the early morning, drive to the east part of Bali to reach Lempuyang temple before crowded via Kusamba village, a traditional fisherman in Klungkung region. You are invited to participate in a centuries-old tradition of salt making by following a short path through huts to a black sand beach where you will learn how the locals make salt traditionally using simple tools.
A winding road will take you to Mount Lempuyang, home to one of Bali's oldest and most sacred temples. You will eventually arrive at the Balinese split gate, commonly referred to as the Gate of Haven, which has Mount Agung in the background in the distance.
Drive down to Gelumpang village, where your local restaurant is located. Here you will enjoy your meals with the beautiful view of Mount Agung and the rice field.
Next, visit the former water palace of Karangasem Kingdom Tirta Gangga, built in the late 1940. The Water Garden is a cool oasis with spring-fed pools. Here you will enjoy your brunch while you still enjoy the view of the palace.

Day 4
Candidasa – Tenganan – Pasir Putih – South of Bali (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Depart in the morning heading to the visit Tenganan village, home to Bali aborigines. The village is famous for exquisite, authentic textiles (double ikat) and craft works. Stroll in the traditional village where you may try yourself and discover skilled crafts people in action including intricate writings on palm leaves.
Drive to Pasir Putih, one of Bali’s most beautiful and most hidden beaches and recently used as the setting for the movie ‘Eat, Pray, Love’. Enjoy relaxing on the white sands, swim in the crystal-clear water, or sip a fresh drink from one of the local seasides warungs.
In the afternoon, drive back to your next hotel or Denpasar Airport for your next destination.
